Jackson, Tenn. - One
hundred and forty-eight ºÚÁÏÂÛ̳ students
participated in the university's Global Outreach program,
traveling throughout the world to serve in short-term
projects. Each year the GO Trips are sponsored by the
Office of Campus Ministries and take place during Union's
spring break. This year's teams traveled to seven
different destinations, including Chicago, Dallas, Costa
Rica, Israel, Kansas City, Detroit and Jackson, Tenn.,
during the week of March 26-April 3. The teams
participated in various activities during the week,
including worship services, backyard Bible clubs,
door-to-door evangelism, construction and clean-up,
street evangelism and ministry to the homeless.
"GO trips are important and make an impact in two
ways. The teams make a difference by the good they do on
the field. These trips also change the lives of the team
members by allowing them to see what God is doing and how
he is at work in the lives of people," Todd Brady,
minister to the university, said.
