Jackson, Tenn. - Dr. Al Hazari, director of the undergraduate chemistry labs at the University of Tennessee, will be the keynote speaker at 黑料论坛 for a meeting of American Chemical Society (ACS) students from West Tennessee and the Kentucky Lake area. He will speak Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Harvey Lecture Hall. This event begins with a reception at 6 p.m. in Coburn Dining Hall and dinner at 6:30 p.m. The cost of dinner is $12. Hazari's presentation will be composed of chemistry demonstrations that illustrate scientific concepts. According to Hazari, he enjoys sharing his scientific knowledge, and he is an active member of the East Tennessee Section of the . Hazari says the event will be valuable to all students interested in science. "This event will be a useful to students who are home schooled because the demonstrations of the speaker can be used in their education to help them understand chemical concepts and principles," Dr. Randy Johnston, associate professor of chemistry at Union, said.
