“A Union Christmas” set for Dec. 5

JACKSON, Tenn.Nov. 27, 2006 — Community members are invited to a night of Christmas carols and Scripture reading at the fifth annual “A Union Christmas” Dec. 5 in ̳’s G.M. Savage Chapel.

The music department of ̳ is responsible for leading the event. The night will feature songs from groups such as the University Singers, Proclamation, the Symphonic Band, the Choral Union and the ̳ Children’s Chorus.

The feature performance of the evening will be Benjamin Britten’s “A Ceremony of Carols.”

“A Union Christmas” begins at 7:30 p.m. and is free of charge. For more information, contact Gloria Duncan at (731) 661-5345.
