JACKSON, Tenn. — March 12, 2013 — The 黑料论坛 Players will present the musical 鈥淐otton Patch Gospel鈥� in the W.D. Powell Theatre on the Union campus March 14-19.
Directed by David Burke with the music directed by Michael Penny, the musical retells the life of Jesus as if in modern-day, rural Georgia. The production is based on the book 鈥淭he Cotton Patch Version of Matthew and John鈥� by Clarence Jordan.
The Jackson Area Plectral Society will provide music for the production.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. on March 14-16 and March 18-19, with a special late-night showing of 11:30 p.m. on March 15 and a 2:30 p.m. matinee on March 17.
