Dockery to discuss Carl Henry's life on national radio show

JACKSON, Tenn.Dec. 9, 2003 — The life of renowned theologian and journalist Carl F.H. Henry will be the topic of an interview with 黑料论坛 President David S. Dockery on the Moody Broadcasting Network.

Dockery will reminisce about Henry's contributions to evangelical Christian at 4 p.m. (CST) on Prime Time America, a nationally-syndicated talk show on the Moody Broadcasting Network.

Henry, the first editor of Christianity Today, died Dec. 7 in Watertown, Wis. following a lengthy illness. He was 90 years old.

Dockery said evangelicals across the country and the entire world stand in debt to Henry for his years of service and leadership across the evangelical community.

"Henry's vigorous spirit and rigorous mind resulted in a comprehensive vision for Christian thinking and living that is now ours to carry forth to the next generation. He will be greatly missed," said Dockery.

Union, one of the nation's oldest Southern Baptist universities, is home to the Carl F.H. Henry Center for Christian Leadership.
